More details
The space retains the main elements of the rooms intended for living, where you can find: the living room furnished with Florentine-style pieces, the artist’s studio, a small room decorated with ethnographic pieces, and a room that holds objects referring to the history of the area, implicitly to that of the Popa family. The works of art, mostly paintings, exhibited in the living room, studio, and hallway were created by Eugen Popa between 1940 and 1980. The portraits of his wife, parents, old family home, and a series of self-portraits bring the space to life and recreate a family atmosphere.
