Experience the city of Sinaia and take a walk to Peles Castle and its "little brother" Pelisor, visit Busteni and Cantacuzino Castle (location of the Netfilx series Wednesday) or the Caraiman Monastery, the Caraiman Mountains and the Caraiman Peak / Sphinx (cable car / gondola in Romanian Telecabina, available). Not far away is Rasnov (town, fortress, Dinopark) and Törzburg (Bran, the castle of Dracula) and Brasov / Kronstadt can also be reached in a short time.

Sinaia is a town in the district of Prahova, located in the valley of the river Prahova, which is covered by the Bucegi Mountains.

From Sinaia ( altitude above sea level: 767 to 860 meters ) a cable car leads to an altitude of 2,000 meters, as well as there are several ski lifts during the winter operation.

Many tourist attractions can be found in and around Sinaia, such as Sinaia Monastery, Peles Castle and smaller Pelisor Castle. Bucegi National Park, Caraiman Monastery and Cantacuzino Castle in the nearby town of Busteni are also close to Sinaia.

The Caraiman Peak is a 2,384 meter high mountain in the Bucegi Mountains (Muntii Bucegi) in the Romanian Southern Carpathians.

The mountain is located in the eastern part of the Transylvanian Alps massif and is one of the highest mountains in the Bucegi Mountains. It is famous for the Crucea Eroilor monument (Heroes' Cross). In the valley below the mountain is the small town of Busteni, Prahova County.
