Ilfov County (Towns: Voluntari, Pantelimon, Buftea)
Ilfov is a Romanian county in the Wallachia region. Its seat is in the city of Bucharest, which itself does not belong to the district. The common abbreviation and license plate is IF. Ilfov has existed as an independent district since April 10, 1997. The Ilfov district surrounds the capital Bucharest. It borders Prahova district to the north, Ialomita and Călărași districts to the east, Giurgiu district to the south and west, and Dâmbovița district to the west.
