Olt is a Romanian county in the Wallachia region with the capital of the Slatina district. It is named after the Olt River of the same name, its common abbreviation and license plate are OT. Olt district borders Vâlcea and Argeș districts to the north, Argeș and Teleorman districts to the east, Bulgaria to the south and Dolj district to the west.
