Discover a slow food & slow travel experience at Conacul Grigorescu (Grigorescu Guest House), a small family guest house with its own farm. The accommodation is located in the village of Rătești (Buzău County), beautifully situated in the valley of the Buzău River and not far from the “Ținutul Buzăului” Geopark.

It offers five tastefully furnished apartments for a total of ten people as well as a pool, a bar, a garden, a children’s playground, free Wi-Fi throughout the building and much more. The rooms have air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, private bathrooms and terraces. Every morning you can look forward to a delicious breakfast.

Many attractions such as the Rătești Monastery, the mud volcanoes of Berca, the resort of Sărata-Monteoru (with medicinal and salt springs) or the Dealu Mare wine region are very close to the guesthouse.

The Grigorescu guesthouse is an insider tip for guests who appreciate culinary experiences and a family atmosphere. The menu is compiled on a daily basis, depending on the availability of fresh products from the region and our own organic production. Vegetarian or special allergen-free menus are available. Traditional Romanian recipes are combined with international influences to create a unique Romanian slow food cuisine.
