Our Houses

You can start the day with a perfect view and beautiful sunrises from any of our 3 houses, as they all face south towards the valley. What could be better than enjoying your morning coffee in the warm morning sunlight? Because we strive to give you a true vintage experience, the wooden houses have been furnished with traditional antique furniture and accessories. While you don’t have to leave without amenities such as electricity, central heating, hot and cold running water and modern toilets, there’s one thing you definitely won’t find here… a TV!

Small House (Casa Mică)

Casa Mica is the first house to be brought to La Saivan *BioRetreat & Farm* in 2016. It was originally located in the village of Vama and dates back to 1926.

It is built in the classic Bucovina style. Its interior is divided into 2 large rooms with stove and fireplace, one of them with an elegant double bed, a large private bathroom and a large loft with a sofa bed accessible via the interior stairs. The house sleeps 4, making it perfect for both a romantic getaway, a family with 2 children or a small group of friends.

Very Small House (Casa Foarte Mică)

The Very Small House originally located on the road between the villages of Vama and Molid and still built in traditional Bucovina style, has a large single bedroom with a queen-size bed, a large stove and a private bathroom. It is ideal for single travellers or couples.
