In the eastern part of the city, on the Cornesti plateau, is the zoo, 488 m above the Black Sea and 197 m above the city. The oak and hornbeam forest “Padurea Mare” offers ideal conditions for a zoo.

It is a very beautiful zoo with many species and spacious areas / enclosures for the animals. The whole family deserves a visit.
