Ardei umpluti (in German: stuffed peppers) and our beloved sarmale, but this time all vegetarian, without meat. We had a lot of comments on the Facebook post from two weeks ago asking for a meat-free version. Here it is, and as many people wrote at the time, you can replace the meat and the leaves used to wrap the sarmale in a variety of ways.

Focsani, Fokshan in German, is located in the region of West Moldova in the district of Vrancea.
