Arieseni is a commune in Alba county in Romania. Located in the west of Transylvania, the municipality stretches over the source of the Ariesul Mare River in the Bihor Mountains. A few kilometers southwest of the village is the highest peak of Bihor and at the same time the Apuseni Mountains, Curcubăta Mare, at 1,849 meters.
