The elegant 19th-century building came into the possession of the famous Chrissoveloni banking family in 1903, then was confiscated during the communist period and converted into a shop. After 1990, the building was brought back to life by its current owner, Jean Chrissoveloni, in collaboration with the architectural firm Square One.
